There are many ways to get a forging license in RF5. You can either take the exam or go through a training program. The best way to find out which route is best for you is to speak with an experienced forgerer.

You’ll need 200 SEED Points to take the exam, but your points will only be deducted after you pass. You can take this exam by going to St. Eliza at the Rigbarth Outpost.

Requirements

To unlock the Forging License Exam, you need to do the following:

Do the main story event where you have to introduce yourself to everyone in town After the introductions, talk to Livia and she will tell you to check the task board Accept the Request that tells you to talk to St. Eliza

Once that’s done, you can now take the Forging License Exam for 200 SEED Points.

Note: Don’t worry about failing the exam because your SEED Points are only taken when you pass it.

After passing the exam, you can now buy a Forge at Studio Palmo. And here’s all the requirements to but your forge:

Weapons Farm Tools Upgrade Weapons & Farm Tools

Be sure to raise your weapon levels and farming levels to get recipes from weapon bread or farming bread. Alternatively, you can also experiment by choosing your own materials to see what you get.
